Customary Wearable Life refers to the expected wearable life of a ThruDark garment under normal use and following the care guidelines. The durability of any product is influenced by how it is used, as fabrics naturally degrade over time, and components such as zips and fastenings will experience wear.

ThruDark products are engineered for resilience and longevity when maintained according to their intended use and our care guidelines. However, all garments have a natural lifespan, and when signs of significant wear appear, it may be time for a repair or replacement. 

Our Overwatch Warranty team will assess the lifespan of a product based on several factors, including the type of garment, its usage conditions, the specific issue presented, and its age. To ensure a fair evaluation, we may require details about the product's history, and in some cases, a determination may not be possible without such information.

At ThruDark, we are committed to sustainability and quality. While a product’s lifespan may come to an end, we encourage repairs and responsible replacements, ensuring your kit is always mission ready.

How to Make a Warranty or Product Lifetime Repair Claim

Submit Your Claim

Send an email to support@ThruDark.com with the following: Your original order number Photos of the garment and damage A description of the issue (When? Where? How?) Confirmation of how the garment has been washed and dried If your product was purchased from an authorized third-party retailer, we can still offer repairs, but full warranty coverage requires proof of purchase from ThruDark.com.

Send Your Item

After approval from our support team, return your garment using our returns process. If the repair does not qualify under warranty, we will provide you with a quotation based on the current rate of service through our approved third-party repairer. Garments must be washed before returning. If not, our repairs team will clean them for a nominal fee, causing delays. Repairs can take up to 6-8 weeks, depending on the nature of the repair and seasonal demand

Receive Your Item Back

If your claim is approved, we will repair and return your garment free of charge. If a repair is chargeable, you will receive a quote before proceeding. For all warranty and repair inquiries, contact us at support@ThruDark.com.

Repairs & Sustainability Commitment

We believe in making durable gear last longer. If your garment is not covered under warranty but can still be repaired, we will do so. This ensures sustainability and reduces waste.

Here at ThruDark we will always try to find repair options whenever possible, however, some products may not be repairable due to age, condition, or nature of the damage. With that said, we appreciate every case is different, and we will be happy to review your product to see how we can help.
